Located in the picturesque municipality of Saraj, Lake Raduša, known among the locals as “Takbol”, stretches over an impressive area of 10,500 m² with a depth of up to 50 meters. This stunning artificial lake was created after the first bankruptcy of the Raduša mine in 1974, when water naturally erupted and collected in the mine landfill, forming today’s Lake Raduša.
A gastronomic experience
The lakeside restaurant is a must-see destination for lovers of good food. Here you can enjoy freshly prepared fish, especially the well-known “Golden Trout” and “California Black Trout,” which were brought into the lake by the village’s youth. These specialties, straight from the lake to your table, promise a gastronomic experience that is as fresh as it is delicious.
Important information for visitors
Despite the alluring beauty of the lake, it is important to note that due to the great depth of 50 meters, bathing and fishing are prohibited for safety reasons. However, the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to observe the fish in their natural habitat create a unique and serene place to relax.
Lake Raduša is the perfect destination for a day trip, offering a fusion of natural beauty, delicious food and a peaceful atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
